Every Aureum piece is crafted in Italy by family-owned ateliers designed to be worn, carried, and kept for years. Each accessory will develop its own character as it’s lived with.

Below are our simple guidelines to help preserve the integrity of your Aureum piece while allowing its natural patina to tell your story.

Daily Care

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, or humidity, which can cause fading or warping.
• Keep your piece away from water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics. If contact occurs, gently blot with a soft, dry cloth.

Cleaning

• For deeper cleaning, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water. Do not use soap or chemical cleaners.

Conditioning

• Over time, leather may lose some of its natural oils. Apply a neutral, high-quality leather conditioner sparingly every 12 months. Test on a hidden area first.
• Do not over-condition, as this can alter the leather’s texture.

Storage

• Store your piece in its original Aureum dust bag when not in use.
• Keep it in an upright position, away from direct light and humidity.
• Avoid plastic bags or airtight containers, which prevent leather from breathing.
