Below are our simple guidelines to help preserve the integrity of your Aureum piece while allowing its natural patina to tell your story.
Daily Care
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, or humidity, which can cause fading or warping.
- Keep your piece away from water, oils, perfumes, and cosmetics. If contact occurs, gently blot with a soft, dry cloth.
Cleaning
- For deeper cleaning, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water. Do not use soap or chemical cleaners.
Conditioning
- Over time, leather may lose some of its natural oils. Apply a neutral, high-quality leather conditioner sparingly every 12 months. Test on a hidden area first.
- Do not over-condition, as this can alter the leather’s texture.
Storage
- Store your piece in its original Aureum dust bag when not in use.
- Keep it in an upright position, away from direct light and humidity.
- Avoid plastic bags or airtight containers, which prevent leather from breathing.
